MACE provides support services to empower children and adults living with disabilities and survivors of trauma to reach their full potential. Our aim is to empower communities by educating, advocating, and serving families and youth living with cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional exceptionalities from early-childhood through the stages of adulthood.

We strive to lead our Muslim community into a better understanding of individuals living with exceptionalities (disabilities) and survivors of trauma by serving as a primary resource and voice for bridging communication between families, schools, and communities.
Meet Our Founders
Meet Our Founders
Sabria Mills, Co-Founder
Sabria Mills is a founding member and the Executive Director of MACE. She has a long standing reputation for advocating for the needs of exceptional children across the nation.
In addition, Sabria has developed programs, engaged in public speaking seminars, and led countless professional development sessions for educators and parents all across the nation. She currently holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Educational Leadership.
Rasheedah Shabazz, Co-Founder
Rasheedah Shabazz is a founding member and the Associate Executive Director of MACE. Rasheedah was first introduced to the non-profit world working as the student support services coordinator.
Rasheedah received a Master of Teaching Degree in Special Education, Behavior and Learning Disabilities from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Florida A & M University. Currently, Rasheedah is working as a highly qualified special education teacher.
