   Day of Inclusion

12/02/2018

We created A Day of Inclusion to celebrate alongside The United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated annually all over the world on December 3rd.

Our organization was formed based on a need to promote the rights and well-being of individuals with exceptionalities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of persons with exceptionalities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life. Our aim was to educate and bring awareness but we really aimed to design a more interactive and hands-on approach, which allowed our participants to walk-through and visit several exhibits crafted with interactive activities to help bring awareness to the needs of our disabled community. These interactive and simulated activities allowed our participants to experience the strengths and abilities of the disabled while developing a plan of action to create more inclusive spiritual spaces.
